Un poco sobre mi...y mis razones...
Nací en Venezuela el 15 de diciembre de 1968. He vivido, en Venezuela, Miami, y Barcelona. De cada lugar en el que he vivido he ido aprendiendo infinidad de cosas, las cuales me hacen sentir cada vez más centrada para dedicarme a gestualizar los colores y las formas y así poder expresar mis vivencias, plasmándolas en mis creaciones.
Pintar ha cambiado mi vida completamente. Al pintar puedo pasar tiempo realmente íntimo conmigo misma. Mientras pinto, me sumerjo en otro mundo y puedo sentir cómo puedo conectar profunda y puramente con mi Centro. Escuchar a mi “yo”, a las cosas que tiene que decir…ponerlas en lienzos, ese es el único lenguaje que conoce para expresarlas, y así, el espectador puede sentirse libre de explorar las emociones que mi obra provocan en él.
Mi obra es una respuesta a mi sentir, a mi forma de ver y formar parte de este mundo. Explica la búsqueda interna de todo ser humano. Trato de mostrar, de una forma visual, las luchas internas que todos libramos para evolucionar y sobrevivir cada día. Siento el pintar como una experiencia espiritual, un proceso de auto-conocimiento y crecimiento personal.
Dado que estamos viviendo, día a día, inmersos en una corriente de emociones negativas, de una forma sutil y actitud rotunda, trato de arrojar al espectador a un viaje intuitivo por sus emociones y sensaciones, esperando que se deje llevar por ellas y perciba mensajes positivos y, que por un instante, sea consciente del momento presente.

I was born in Venezuela, on December 15th, 1968. I have lived in Venezuela, Miami and Barcelona. From each place that I have lived in, I have learned a lot of things, which makes me feel more centred to show my experiences through different colours and forms in my creations.
Painting has completely changed my life. I am able to spend real intimate time with myself. While I paint I submerge into another world and I can feel how I connect, deeply and purely with my center. Listening to my ’self’, to the things it has to say…putting them on canvas, that’s the only language it knows to express them, so that the audience can feel free to explore the emotions that my art provokes in them.
My art is a response to my way of seeing and being part of this world. It tries to explain the internal search of any human being. I try to show, in a visual manner, the internal fights that we all endeavour to evolve and to survive every day. I feel painting as a spiritual experience, a way of knowing myself, a way of personal growth.
Since we are living immersed in a stream of negative emotions everyday, I try, in a subtle way, to make the spectators go into a self intuitive trip along with their emotions and sensations, waiting for them to experience them freely and perceive positive messages, and that at least for a moment, they are conscious of the present moment.
